A journey through Western Australia's wheat belt at Wave Rock is combined with the scenic country, historic port of Albany, sightseeing along the rugged southern coast culminates in a canopy walk through the towering old forest.

Day 1: Perth to Wave Rock in Perth

Heading east we enjoy morning tea (own expense) towards historic York, the first township founded in the Avon Valley. Visit Dog Cemetery before arriving in Hyden. Visit Hippone Yawn, a rock formation that resembles a gaping hippopotamus. Then break for picnic or lobster meal at the wildflower shop. See the Wave Rock show and ancient Gnamma holes. So here visit one or the other of the natural park or a unique view of the Antique Lace collection.


Departure from Wave Rock, we visit the Humps and finally Mulka's cave. We then return to Perth by another route and stop in the quaint country town of Babakin for afternoon tea (own expense). Wildflower viewing stops between September and November. Arrive in Perth at approximately 8:30 pm.

Day 2: Perth to Albany

Travel south via the Stirling Range and Porongurup Range National Parks, before reaching historic Albany, Western Australia, the first European settlement.

Day 3: Albany Treetop Walk to Perth

After the guided shoreline tour visit 'The Gap' and 'Natural Bridge', Travel via Denmark through the spectacular forests of Karri trees to the seaside town of Walpole. Here join a local guide "Gary" for a lunch cruise on Nornalup Inlet, widely considered one of the last great wilderness areas. Gary will delight all with his incredible knowledge and love of this region.


Next stop is the incredible Valley of the Giants "Tree Top Walk" reaching 40m into the forest canopy. A ground level walk is available through the Old Kingdom, a remarkable pocket of Tingle Forest, a vast perimeter of trees up to 5 meters wide.

En route to Perth we stop for a light evening meal (own expense) at the Kodja Place Visitor Center with arrival in Perth at approx. 22:30 p.m.
