After a very early start you will reach the beautiful game reserve of Aquila for a hunting trip with an experienced ranger. Optimal viewing is ensured in open 4×4 vehicles.
Giraffes, lions, leopards, springboks, zebras, black and blue wildebeests are some of the wildlife that call the reserve home. There are also good opportunities to see crocodiles and if you are very lucky you may even spot the mountain leopard.
The Aquila Game Reserve has an extensive natural wetland and birding opportunities are plentiful. It is home to over 170 species of birds, including the endangered black eagle which bears the name of the reserve.
