You will start the tour in front of the meeting point at 14:00 PM in front of the Olinda Rio Hotel on Av. Atlântica or at 2:35 am at the Love Time Hotel in Gloria, where you will go with your guide by metro (included in the price) to the Gloria district. Your first visit will be to the Selaron staircase, with an artwork by a Chilean artist. It's a huge mosaic with tiles from different parts of the world that covers 400 steps in the Lapa district, also known as "the great madness".

Your second stop will be Praça Mauá. The square marks the beginning of Avenida Rio Branco and the Port District, the central district of Rio. Surrounding the square are important buildings, such as the Rio Art Museum (MAR) and the Museum of Tomorrow.

From there, you'll stroll down Olympic Boulevard to see all the new and different artwork in the area, including the very large (it's in the Guinness Book of Records!) 3 square meter 'Etnias' mural. Finally, you will go to the Pedra do Sal. Originally a slave village, Pedra do Sal is a place of particular importance for Cariocas of African descent and fans of samba and choro. It is a culturally rich area, filled with art, and definitely worth visiting and stopping in for a cold beer! Your guide will drive you back to the metro station and show you where you need to get off to return to your accommodation. For people staying in the center of town, the guide will give you tips on the best bars, restaurants and museums if you want to explore the area after the tour. Beautiful sunset from this place!
