Corcovado Mountain Tour
The tour starts in the morning with a trip to the Cosme Velho station, where you will take the cogwheel train. The train takes you through the dense Atlantic rainforest of Tijuca to the statue of Christ the Redeemer on Mount Corcovado. You'll spend nearly an hour here with your guide, who shows you around Rio's sights from this soaring high mountain vantage point. After your morning tour, relax and enjoy lunch at a seafood restaurant.

Sugar Loaf Mountain Tour
In the afternoon you will be driven to downtown Rio, past its fine collection of Portuguese colonial style buildings, to take the cable car back to Prai Vermelha (Red Beach). The cable car takes you to the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain for a magnificent view of Rio de Janeiro nestled between the mountains and the sea, and the magical sight of the sun dipping down onto Copacabana Beach.

Please note : if the train is not running during your stay, you will travel to the Christ the Redeemer statue via the standard route.
