Visit the Baroque Crown Jewels of Austria on this half-day, small-group tour of Vienna's Schönbrunn Palace. Follow a historian guide through the castle's ornamental gardens, and take in views of the hilltop vault. As you explore, listen to a guide who brings the home of the Habsburg dynasty to life. Next, enter the palace and its exquisite rooms and suites, and marvel at ornate decorations in the Grand Gallery, Ceremonial Hall, and Yellow Salon. Enjoy the undivided attention of your guide on this small-group tour, limited to six people.

Choose a 9:30 AM or 14 PM tour, then enter Schönbrunn Palace to meet your historian guide and begin your tour. Please note that entrance to the palace is not included in the tour price, but your guide will assist you in purchasing your entrance ticket.

During your half-day tour, explore the beautiful gardens and admire the Baroque landscape for which they are famous. Stroll through the gardens and gaze up to the Gloriette – the arch at the top of the hill overlooking the Viennese forests. Along the way, listen as your guide sheds light on the fates of the mighty Habsburg dynasty.

Then, head inside to visit the palace's state rooms. Explore the Grand Gallery, the Yellow Salon and the Private Suite of François Joseph, and gain insight into life here during the House of Habsburg.

Discover the magnificent halls in which Empress Maria Theresa spent her time, admire the impressive Hall of Ceremonies and stop in the Music Room, where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart once performed at the age of 6.

When your 2-hour tour of Schönbrunn Palace comes to an end, return to the main gates to conclude your tour.
