After passing through picturesque small villages, you will arrive at the steep mountain of Montserrat and its Royal Basilica. Montserrat has been one of Spain's most important pilgrimage sites for hundreds of years, due to the famous 12th century Romanesque sculpture, the Black Madonna. From Monday to Friday at 13 p.m. there is the possibility of hearing one of the oldest children's choirs in Europe, La Escolania de Montserrat.



On your way back to Barcelona, ​​you will stop at the port, before continuing to the terminal to begin the tour of the artistic city of Barcelona. Your cultural stay in Barcelona begins along Paseo de Gracia to see Gaudi's famous apartment buildings, Casa Batlló and La Pedrera. You can then enjoy a 30-minute visit to Gaudi's bizarre Parc Guell, which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Next, you'll see Gaudi's unfinished masterpiece, the Sagrada Familia (Holy Family) Cathedral, Barcelona's most famous landmark. You will have approximately 30 minutes to explore this remarkable structure.

You can also visit Les Arenas Monumental de Barcelona and the famous Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Sea, the only complete Gothic church in Catalonia. The tour ends near the Picasso Museum which features charming works by the world famous painter from the Blue and Rose periods (ticket not included).
