Half Day Scuba Diving in Athens for Certified Divers

We will pick you up from your hotel with our air-conditioned minibus and head to the dive site. The dive sites are about 25-45 minutes drive from Athens city center, you can enjoy the walk as we go through the Athens south coast road.

We will prepare our equipment which is very well maintained every year and fairly recent. Your experienced instructor will give you a short scuba diving briefing and then we'll be ready to dive: beautiful coral reefs, walls and the famous 'Blue Hole' are waiting to be discovered. Great visibility (usually up to 30 meters) and warm water (up to 28 C – 82 F) depending on the season.

The "Blue Hole" looks like an artificial well located in Vouliagmeni, very close to Lake Vouliagmeni. It's at a beautiful rocky bay about 10 meters from the coast that starts at 10 meters deep and goes down to 30 meters. Its width is about 4 meters and its easy access makes it an ideal experience for less experienced divers!!
The "Blue Hole" is considered to be connected with Lake Vouliagmeni by a system of underwater caves which have not yet been explored.

All divers must be at least certified open water divers and be DAN insured.
If you are not a certified diver you can discover scuba diving on another dive site with the Underwater Discovery program made for beginners.

Our team also have a waterproof camera and – if you wish – we will ensure that all your memories are recorded and given to you at the end of the scuba dive – free of charge!
