Where to go out in Valence?
The city has the reputation of being one of the liveliest in Spain! Crowds are everywhere, especially on weekends when the weather is nice. In some neighborhoods, especially El Carmen.
In the El Carmen district
El barrio del Carmen, or El Carmen, as it is called, is a lively neighborhood for Valencian evenings. Bars, with sophisticated decorations and not cheap drinks, abound there. Young and old, tourists on a spree, trendy and less trendy rub shoulders there. A little dethroned by the district of Ruzafa, more trendy, El Carmen remains all the same a lively and nice corner of the city to start the night, with as epicenter the crossroads of the plaça del Tossal and the carrer del Caballeros.
