This tour is the perfect way to explore favorite places associated with Beatrix Potter. We travel north along Lake Windermere to Waterhead where Beatrix spent many of her school holidays when she lived in London. From there we'll head to his Hill Top farm, go into the store, see his garden and optionally take a tour of the house.

You can visit the medieval village of Hawkshead where you have time to explore this fascinating village. On our way to Coniston Water we drive through the famously beautiful spot of Tarn Hows where we stop for a photo. We board the ferry near Coniston for the lake cruise.
The tour continues through Yewdale, passing Yew Tree Tarn and Skelwith Bridge and returning to Windermere and Bowness.

Add to this pleasant half-day excursion an optional cream tea at the Lindeth Howe Hotel, the former home of Beatrix Potter's mother, before returning to your accommodation.
