Gibraltar Castle

Although the Gibralfaro Castle, located on the hill of the same name, seems to be a natural extension of the Alcazaba, these two buildings are quite distinct. Indeed the Gibralfaro Castle was only built in the XNUMXth century to protect the Alcazaba. This castle was built on the site of an old lighthouse, hence its name Gibralfaro.

Malaga Marina and Paseo Parque

Visiting Malaga also means exploring its streets, squares and parks. I advise you to go for a ride on the marina of Malaga. Redeveloped recently, with the establishment of its "Paseo", the walk is worth it. This one is located very close to the city center, a few hundred meters away. You will walk along the port and its shops, bars and restaurants.

On the other side of the road that runs along the Pseao you will find the Paseo parque, one of the largest parks located in the city center. You can rest there for a few moments in the shelter of its tall trees, enjoying the breeze coming from the nearby sea.

When to visit Malaga?

Malaga enjoys a very favorable climate. The sun is present throughout the year, the temperatures are mild in the summer due to the seaside and the winter is temperate. Temperatures rarely drop below 10 degrees.
On the rain side, the Malaga region is also rather spoiled. Even if the months of January and February are the rainiest, they do not necessarily represent bad months. It is therefore possible to visit Malaga throughout the year.
