Highlights

  • Done in English

Your whale-watching tour from Victoria is enhanced by informative commentary provided by a trained naturalist. You'll learn about the biology, behavior and habits of the wildlife you'll spot as you cruise the water in a Zodiac or luxury motorboat.

You will have a great opportunity to spot killer whales between April and September. You will also be able to observe California sea lions, northern (stellar) sea lions, elephant seals and harbor seals while bald eagles soar overhead and seabirds fly near the water in search of food. To make the most of your whale watching safari, bring a jacket, sun protection, your camera and a pair of binoculars.

The photographic opportunities on a whale watching tour are phenomenal! With the ship at rest, you can break away while listening to the naturalist's stories about the ecosystem of the Pacific Ocean you are visiting. If the conditions are right, you will have the opportunity to hear the unforgettable song of the whales. Hydrophones can record and amplify the sounds of communicating whales.

This tour is seasonal, operating from April through October
