The official weekly closing day is Sunday. But some supermarkets as well as most supermarkets 18 p.m., but vary according to the establishments and the seasons (early closures in summer):
- Public administrations: Monday to Thursday 8 a.m. to Private sector Banks: from 8:30 a.m. to Stores: from 9:30 a.m. to supermarché Muse Archaeological sites : open every day from 9 a.m. to sunset.
- From France to Lebanon : 00 (tone From Lebanon towards France : 00 + 33 + 9-digit correspondent's number (without the initial 0).
- The wired network: international calls can be made from hotels, post offices and specialty stores. There are also phone cards for calling abroad, but these 2 options are expensive.
- The mobile network: it is a cellular GSM network as in France. The entire territory is covered by the two local operators (Cellis and Libancell). Mobile phones are commonly used.
