Highlights

The Jasper Aerial Tramway is the longest and highest in Canada. It is the only guided aerial cableway in the Canadian Rockies. It offers visitors an unparalleled view of six mountain ranges, glacier-fed lakes, the Athabasca River, and the picturesque mountain town of Jasper.

The adventure begins at an altitude of 1304 meters, in a closed and secure cabin. A well-trained and knowledgeable guide will accompany you on the gentle seven-minute ride to the Upper Station at 2277 meters above sea level. As you ascend Whistler Mountain, your guide will brief you on the area, points of interest, animal life and history.

The high mountain will be your destination and the Upper Station offers a safe breathtaking view and that
you can enjoy as long as you have time. Stroll the sidewalks to view interpretive plaques and observe wildlife. Alpine's inhabitants include the Hoary Marmot (famous for its hissing alert call), White-tailed Ptarmigan, Ground Squirrels, Pika, and the occasional Bighorn Sheep. You may travel off the sidewalks and on the hiking trails at your own risk.

Take the opportunity to Shop at High Altitude in the high alpine shops of Jasper. Buy a Junkie T-shirt or the perfect gift for friends and family. The Treeline Restaurant offers something for everyone. Menus vary from light snacks to full meals with a wide range of beverages in a cafeteria style setting. Start the day with breakfast, end with dinner or a snack in the middle. The Treeline Restaurant is a sight with great taste!

This tour is seasonal and only operates from April to October.
