A medina classified by Unesco

Located less than 3 hours by bus from Marrakech, the Essaouira medina is an oasis of tranquility on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. Immediately recognizable with its white walls and its many touches of blue, the city and its ramparts make us think of a Breton town relocated to the Maghreb. You can find everything in Essaouira

A fishing port, Essaouira allows you to taste many seafood products in typical and authentic bars. Besides that, traditional Moroccan craftsmanship is also omnipresent (slippers, pottery, carved wooden objects…).

How to get to Essaouira?

Regular flights (few in number) provide a direct link between France and Essaouira Mogador airport (ESU). Otherwise, the easiest way is to devote 24 hours to visiting the city during a trip to Morocco: many buses run between Marrakech and Essaouira in less than 3 hours.
