The best hotels and accommodations Istanbul
- Accommodation in Istanbul
- Bunk Hostel:
A large youth hostel (170 beds) in an old house completely revamped with a modern feel: brick walls painted white, indirect lighting, lacquered colors, sandblasted glass walls. The whole is bright. Dormitories with 4 to 10 beds with or without bathroom, double rooms with balcony (the cheapest with shared bathroom). No kitchen available but a roof terrace where you can have breakfast and spend the evening with a drink. Sometimes DJs (electro lounge). Nice atmosphere.
- World House Hostel:
Situéc and air conditioning. Really well kept and pleasant ground. Plenty of services (laundry, games room, bicycle garage) and information for your stay. Professional and smiling welcome.
- Orient Hostel:
Large frogs abound. Plutôfort. At the last step with a view of the Marmara Sea, Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque.
- Bahaus Guesthouse:
In the heart of Sultanahmet, an interesting base for its dormitories with 4 to 14 beds: clean, accessible by a digital code, with air conditioning, fans and good mattresses. Each bed is protected by a curtain to provide more privacy. Also a handful of fairly mundane but inexpensive double rooms. Rooftop terrace bar, which serves alcohol; sometimes organizes parties. An address loyal to the post for years, as evidenced by the painting with the effigy of the Routard.
- Big Apple Hostel & Buffet, which is not great. On the roof, terrace with a superb view of the Sea of Marmara.
- Yeni Otel & Hostel:
In a busy pedestrian alley, near Sirkeci station. For lack of charm, we won't spend our wedding night there, but out of the thirty air-conditioned rooms, ten have their own bathroom. In terms of decor and furniture, it's absolutely basic, but the mattresses are good and cleanliness is a strong point of the place. So, given the prices, it's not bad.
- Minel Hotel:
In a quiet and discreet alleyway, away from the hustle and bustle, a small hotel in Mediterranean colors with tight prices. Admittedly, the rooms are not really huge, but the fresh and modern decor makes up for this drawback. Terrace or balcony for those located on the upper floors.
- Hanedan Hotel:
Well located on the ground floor. Breakfast on the roof, with a truly beautiful panoramic view.
- Hotel Peninsula:
A hôsol. The numéSophie rooms. If it is full, you will be offered rooms at the same price at the Hanedan hotel (same owner), just opposite (see above).
- Marmara Guesthouse:
In this recent establishment, in the guesthouse spirit, you will not find the charm of the old, but a smiling and friendly welcome. Air-conditioned rooms, bright, summarily furnished but impeccably clean. Some towel effects will surprise you! The most expensive are housed on the upper floors. Terrace with swing and sea view, a few tables under the trellis, where a hearty breakfast is served. A very good address.
- Galata Life:
Àresto with good cuisine prepared by the owner, whose room is open to the bustle of the street. Good welcome.
