Meet your local guide in Brussels, capital of Belgium and heart of the European Union. Soak up the café culture of the Grand Place, the city's central square with its guild houses and a carpet floor of flowers. You will see all the important sites including the Royal Palace, St. Michael's Cathedral and the Palace of Justice. Taste the best Belgian fries and get ready to participate in a discovery of Belgian chocolate in a typical chocolate shop where you can also taste some delicious pralines. Before leaving Brussels, catch a glimpse of Manneken Pis, the bronze statue of a little boy peeing in a fountain.
Head to the banks of the Scheldt in Antwerp, where you'll encounter the Fashion District, and the Market Square, including a visit to the heart of the Cathedral of Our Lady. Pass by the home and studio of Peter Paul Rubens, the famous Flemish painter, as well as one of the oldest zoos in the world.
