Discover the Salvador Dali Museum in Figueres and the magical medieval town of Girona on a full-day trip from Barcelona. Figueres and Girona are the two most famous attractions in northern Catalonia that will complete your visit to Barcelona. The advantage of this excursion is that you will have plenty of leisure time in both cities.

    Highlights

    • Done in English
    • Explore the streets of the city on a walking tour
    • All entrance fees included
    • Receive discounts at select restaurants, shops and attractions
    • Flexibility to adapt the itinerary to your preferences

You will be amazed by the fascinating and surreal world of Salvador Dali in his hometown, Figueres. The Dalí Theatre-Museum is the largest Surrealist object in the world, replacing the city's former Municipal Theater which was destroyed during the Spanish Civil War. Not only is the museum a work of art in itself, but also one of many famous works by Dali, one of the most famous surrealist artists in the world.

You can also visit the beautiful walled city of Girona, where you will have free time to stroll through one of the best preserved Jewish quarters in Europe. Girona was built by the Romans as a fortress. The best way to explore the medieval town is to get lost in the maze of alluring narrow streets that still reflect its two centuries of Moorish occupation.
