Start the day with a transfer to Stanley Park. Stanley Park is a 405 hectare playground with great city views, mountain backdrops and the salty smell of the Pacific. Find out why it was named the best park in the entire world and continues to rank among the best parks in the world. In Gastown, see Maple Tree Square, Vancouver's oldest architecture and the famous Steam Clock.

Next up, Chinatown is known for its great restaurants, shopping, and interesting architecture (like the world's thinnest building), all to delight your senses.

After that comes Granville Island, a tiny peninsula that's a terrific hotbed for food and art. Spend time browsing artisan workshops or sampling the excellent food and enjoy even more beautiful waterfront views at the Granville Island Public Market.

Next, cross a true symbol of Vancouver, the Lions Gate Bridge, a 5-foot (890-meter) bridge offering unparalleled views of Vancouver Harbour, English Bay and beyond.

After crossing the bridge and arriving on the north shore, the tour continues with a short climb to the Capilano fish farm. You'll learn about the salmon's life cycle and, depending on the season (July-August), watch them leap out of the water and up the river.

Then head to the Capilano Suspension Bridge, a world-famous footbridge, to wander among the towering trees of the surrounding rainforest and learn about the traditions of the indigenous Coast Salish peoples. Then cross the 136-meter bridge to the other side of the river, where you can ascend to the treetops and take the Treetops Adventure Trail high above the canyon and river.

For thrill seekers, try the Cliffwalk, Capilano's newest suspension bridge attraction. This thrilling journey will take you through the equatorial forest on a series of suspended walkways that emerge from the side of the granite cliff into uncharted territories of the park.
