    One of the first cogwheel trains used to travel Kahlenberg at 1.588 feet (484 meters) above sea level. After a steep ascent from Danube, you will take a relaxing hike to enjoy magnificent views.

    Visit the Josefskirche where an inscription commemorates the Polish Relief Army which participated in the rescue of Vienna during the Turkish siege in 1683. Continue through forests and vineyards before ending your hike in one of Vienna's typical Heurigen ( cabaret).
