Taxis like you've never seen before
The Taxi Fabric project allowed a team of Indian artists to beautify the interior of taxis. With a population of 19 million, Mumbai provides more than 50 taxis, each carrying dozens of passengers per day. In other words, this particularly convenient means of transport is an integral part of Indian social and cultural life.
But instead of riding in an ordinary automobile, artists have completely redecorated the cabins of Mumbai taxis with colorful works. The styles are very varied and you will never admire the same creation from car to car. Currently, there are already thirty taxis exhibiting art inspired by dreams and cultures from all over the planet.

Artists have renovated Indian taxis from floor to ceiling, seats and trunk. The drivers make every effort to offer a welcoming service to customers. Everyone takes care of the maintenance and interior decoration of their work tool with the aim of differentiating themselves from other taxis and remaining identifiable.
By inviting travelers in a decorated and designer vehicle, these taxi drivers definitely stand out from their many competitors who pay little attention to the look of their car. The older generations believe that their role should be limited to one function, that of satisfying passengers by leading them from one point to another. Most Indians don't understand that aesthetics can have a real impact on morale.
But there is no doubt that from now on, mentalities will evolve thanks to the Taxi Fabric project which has been able to charm the Indians with these traveling works of art.
