Departing from Berlin, you will pass through the old and modern districts of the city of Potsdam. Renowned for its lakes and castles, this World Heritage city is the capital of the state of Brandenburg and was for a long time the residence of the kings of Prussia.
When touring Potsdam, you'll see the Dutch Quarter, St. Nicholas Church, the historic Town Hall, the former royal stables, the Nauen Gate, and the New Palace.
