Get up close to native animals at Maru Koala and Wildlife Park, located on Bass Highway in Grantville, just 15 minutes from Phillip Island. With general “all day” admission, you can see kangaroos, koalas, wild dingoes, wombats and more. And there's still so much to Maru besides the animals. You can also enjoy a wool shearing show or even set sail for Pete's Pirate Mini Golf, where you can enjoy an 18-hole course of fun.



Discover Australian flora and fauna at Maru Wildlife Park. Join hourly guided tours inside the koala space and enjoy the opportunity to take a photo with a koala. Enjoy hand-feeding kangaroos and wallabies, including rare albinos. See wombats, dingoes, a Tasmanian devil, talking parrots, reptiles and more at the wildlife park.

Bring your camera and take the opportunity to take photos to take home as a souvenir of your experience.

Enjoy a wool shearing show at Maru, held in the auditorium daily. Watch the farmers shear the sheep and enjoy a true Aussie-style experience, meet the shearer and learn about sheep's wool and its products.

Then set sail for Pete's Pirate Mini-Golf, and enjoy an 18-hole course of fun. Make putts in the Thirty Meter Pirate Ship and encounter life-size piracy figures like Captain Jack Sparrow. Enter the gold mine under five meters of thundering waterfalls!


Afterward, relax in the Bistro at a licensed farm, or al fresco, and enjoy a meal or light lunch (own expense). All specific diets, including Halal, gluten-free, dairy-free and vegetarian options are available.

Maru Koala and Animal Park has walkways and facilities for guests with disabilities, with ample seating, sheltered and shaded areas and a prayer area. Founded, owned and maintained by the Heffer family for 30 years, they have personally taken the time to ensure that you enjoy your visit to this multi-award winning amusement park.
