Today I am going to tell you about the boutique hotel in which I was able to stay during my visit to Seville. This charming hotel in the heart of Seville is the ideal place to combine rest and visit the city.
An exceptional setting
First, let me tell you about the setting. A former "Casa Palacio" from the XNUMXth century, the hotel has been completely renovated while retaining certain architectural features such as marble columns and sculpted beams. The hotel is divided into two buildings, both having been renovated in the same style, combining modernity and originality while respecting the original style. The hotel is bathed in soft lighting which creates an atmosphere of calm and serenity.
The patio, by which you arrive, immediately immerses you in this atmosphere. The decoration is neat in all the rooms and no detail is left to chance.
The room we were in was very spacious. A large bed for two people as well as an extra bed which can very well suit an adult. The rooms are very well equipped. Indeed, discreetly hidden behind a cupboard, you will find a refrigerator, a microwave and a sink, enough to cool you down or heat up a dish. Of course a flat screen and a smartphone docking station to listen to your music, even in the bathroom. All rooms are, of course, equipped with wifi.
Let's end the visit to the bedroom with the most surprising place, the bathroom. It is refined and like the rest of the hotel, the lighting and decoration are neat. You will undoubtedly appreciate the double shower, one of the walls of which is completely glazed and overlooks an exterior skylight.
Now let's take a little height to get to the hotel's rooftop terrace. Again, it's a nice surprise. A shaded terrace, divided into two parts, awaits you with a small swimming pool. Nothing like cooling off at the end of the afternoon. The terrace has many tables, where you can enjoy a good glass of wine as well as tapas, but also several deckchairs, enough to rest when you feel like it. This also offers you a magnificent view of Seville and its cathedral.
Quality service
In addition to the truly exceptional setting of the hotel, the service is also there. People who take care to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
The breakfast is very good. The hotel offers you different kinds of breads, croissants, an assortment of fruits as well as a richly garnished menu where you will find what you are looking for whether you eat sweet or savory.
An ideal location
Now let's talk about localization. Indeed, the location is an essential criterion in the choice of accommodation. Being able to get around on foot, without having to take public transport or a taxi each time, is a real plus.
The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from the famous Seville Cathedral in a very quiet street.
The Corral del rey hotel is, of course, one of the favorites of my trip to Andalusia and more specifically to Seville. This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Seville. You can benefit from top-of-the-range accommodation, a luxurious room, discreet but very efficient service and a breathtaking terrace.
